Bitter This Heart's Day? This Ampalaya Ice Cream Will Make You Feel Better!

An artisinal ice cream parlor in Manila is offering something new and exciting this Valentine's Day, most especially to sorbet lovers.

Sebastian's Ice Cream has come up with unique sorbet flavors that match your feelings: for people who are in love, bitter and recovering from a heartbreak.

The store's popular ice cream variant was named "Unresolved Issues"— a sorbet with ampalaya as the main ingredient.

“This sorbet has the definite bitter flavor that is reminiscent of the lingering pain that is only amplified on a day that is meant to celebrate lovers,” Sebastian’s said.

Sebastian's, founded in 2005, has become known among sorbet lovers for fusing Filipino flavors such as sapin-sapin, champorado, mangga't suman and mango sansrival to their ice cream.
