Salabat and Wasabi Ice Cream: Wa Masabi sa Sarap

Do you think this is appetizing? It looks good, doesn’t it?

Wasabi awesomeness

This is one of the few weird and exotic ice cream flavors Xtremely Xpresso in Subic Bay Freeport Zone serves to its customers on a regular basis.

Despite the initial fear, the taste of the two ice creams is actually good, though the salabat ice cream could do better when it comes to the ginger-y taste.

The Wasabi Ice Cream takes the award for being true to both its wasabi and ice cream side: creamy and sweet, but with a hint of wasabi creeping up your nose, leaving a spicy (but refreshing) sensation in your entire nasal cavity.

Pro-tip: eat this if you have a cold!

Xtremely Xpresso also serves all-time favorites such as chocolate and vanilla and not-so-usual flavors like Chili Chocolate. They also serve other food items such as burgers and pasta. You can find them along Dewey Ave. in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo.
