A Home Away From Home: Retreat To A Roadside Restaurant In EDSA

Choose Philippines | Jan 24, 2017

Traveling from south to north via EDSA may be a challenge especially when one has to endure hunger, and thoughts of home-cooked meals are making the situation even worse.

All you've got to do is to make the right decision, and by that, we mean turn right and you'll find Naimas: Taste Of Home restaurant.

From the restaurant's facade, Naimas seems like a cocktail lounge— the multi-colored illumination from the building compliments the outdoor setting along with the abundance of fresh plants.

Whether you opt to stay inside or sit in the veranda, you would not feel any distraction from the noise and pollution of the chaotic traffic.

The restaurant's ambiance from the outside is enticing enough for you to take a break after a very exhausting day at work, grab a bottle of beer, and indulge in their sumptuous nachos (very much recommended!) with your barkada.

However, get inside the restaurant and you will feel completely different because of the light and peaceful atmosphere.

The cathedral ceiling makes the interior seems more spacious and almost every corner of the place is Instagram worthy

The second floor, on the other hand, is less crowded which makes it more intimate and ideal for family gatherings or get-together with your closest friends.

Its interior will surely which remind you of your own home, and the rich flavors of the classic Filipino dishes they serve will bring you nostalgic memories of your grandma’s home-cooked meals.
