Island Buenavista: Your Own Tropical Paradise For a Day

The Island Buenavista is the 4-hectare Small Ligid Island in Samal, Davao del Norte. The island has a beautiful resort and an area which serves as a sanctuary for giant clams and other marine life.

Being one with the sun, sea, sand and serenity without the maddening crowd is what draws you to the island. Celebrities have found refuge in the island because privacy and security are guaranteed.

For PhP105,000, one can enjoy the whole island to yourself or 10 of your friends or family. No one else is allowed within the island except for the staff that would treat you with utmost care.

So what do you do with all the serenity?  Your day can be spent getting a tan by lounging on the powdery soft white sand or swimming in its crystal clear gentle and calm water.

Kayak or snorkel to your heart’s content and explore the coral reefs.  Scuba divers have enjoyed the rich underwater marine life surrounding the island.

When you have had enough of the sea, take a swim in its temperature controlled swimming pool or relax and take a nap in the luxurious cottages that are yours to choose from.

All the cottages face the sea.  The side facing the mainland of Samal would give you a commanding view of the sunset while the other side facing Davao del Norte is where the sun sets.

There are also hammocks and lounges under the trees that would satisfy your need for rest and relaxation.

Included in the package are delicious buffet full meals and snacks that would nourish you for the island’s activities.

You can do more or do less in the island.  After all, you own the tropical paradise for a day.
