Just recently, international website Travel + Leisure named Palawan the “best island in the world;” the second time it received the remarkable distinction after 2013. That’s why it isn’t surprising that one of the most stunning locales in Asia could be found there as well. Conde Nast Traveler hailed Kayangan Lake in Coron, Palawan as among the 50 most beautiful places in Asia.
The Kayangan Lake managed to land a spot in the exclusive list that included iconic locations as India’s Taj Mahal, Japan’s Mount Fuji, and China’s Great Wall.
Nestled in between mountains and surrounded by nature, Kayangan Lake boasts of crystal-blue waters that would leave you in utter awe. Below water, you’ll be enchanted by the lake’s aquatic treasures—it’s a snorkeler’s dream.
If you don’t feel like taking a dip (who wouldn’t, though), simply gazing at your surroundings and breathing its fresh air is already quite the experience. After all, it's one of Asia's finest.
