For a lot of Filipinos, South Luzon is a haven for coconut lovers. And though there might be some truth in that since a lot of coconuts come from the South, it isn't exclusively a place for coconuts. One prime example of this is Quezon. In it, you can easily find beautiful waterfalls, beaches, and numerous nearby islands. In particular, one of the most impressive islands is Cagbalete Island, located in Mauban, Quezon, some 4 to 5 hours away from Manila.
The island features a wide stretch of white sand, especially during low tide. However, the island also offers excellent snorkeling and freediving spots, having numerous reefs nearby. Come experience it for yourself!
