Surf All-Year Round: 5 Pinoy Surfers You Should Be Following Now!

Summer is officially over, but so what? That doesn’t mean you should stop surfing, or if you don’t know how to, it shouldn’t stop you from learning! Take inspiration from five of the best (and most popular) surfers the Philippines has ever known!

Jericho Rosales

Apart from being an accomplished actor, Echo happens to also be an entrepreneur, restaurauteur, musician, world traveler, and of course, a surfer. It seems no passion is too far away to be pursued by this fine example of a Filipino gentleman.

Noelle Hilario

Apart from being a passionate surfer, Noelle also advocates for healthy living in both mind and body. She co-manages Hillside Cafe & Juice Bar, and co-owns FLOW Retreats, and can often be found on Instagram posting about her travels alongside her son.

Luke Landrigan

Undoubtedly one of the most famous surfers in the Philippines, Luke's passion for surfing (and travel, and everything else in between) was a few of the many reasons why Filipinos suddenly became so interested in the sport.

Jeff Ortega

Apart from being an entrepreneur and brand ambassador for STOKEDinc, Jeff Ortega is also an avid surfer, being a native, born and raised in La Union, close to the ocean. In fact, he loves and revels in the surfing scene in his home province. A quick glance at his Instagram and his #FeedGoals-worthy photos is enough to prove it!

Lorraine Lapus

Being one of the finest surfers in the country has its perks: having thousands of followers on Instagram is one, and being able to travel all over the Philippines, advocating for the fun and benefits of surfing is another. Lorraine Lapus caught her first waves in 2005, and has quickly become one of the best and most-sought after instructors in Philippine surfing history.
