Coron, Palawan is known for its beautiful islands and serene beaches, lush sea life in its waters. But its treasure lies in its gentle people.

The moment you step in Busuanga airport, you feel the sincerity of its people in welcoming you to their land and giving you honest service.

Then came Typhoon Yolanda. According to PIA-Palawan, it left in its wake a total of 7,864 families affected: Taytay 1,672; Coron 1,218; Roxas 1,093; Busuanga 869; Araceli 674; Agutaya 511; Cuyo 355; Dumaran 315; Culion 295; Magsaysay 274; Linapacan 163; El Nido 154; San Vicente 146; Cagayancillo 8; and all of southern municipalities 117.

The people who welcomed us into their homes and land need our help. And who readily gave out their helping hand but the foreign and local tourists who were stranded in Coron.

They are giving back what they have received :)
