Since the Bureau of Internal Revenue postponed the deadline of submission of Annual Income Tax Returns, Ilonggo Accountant and Professor Benmar Panaguiton and his wife took a break from Accounting and bookkeeping duties and started sewing face masks.
In his social media post, Panaguiton's wife, Annabelle, can be seen sewing face masks using their sewing machine. Their eldest child is helping them out since classes are suspended.
For Panaguiton, a helping hand is what everyone needs during this time of health crisis, "We should be productive and be of help in these trying times", says Panaguiton in his social media post. The first batch of masks will be given to their helpers and their families. They plan to give these to their friends and to pedicab drivers in their community. They thought of making face masks since this what the Covid 19 crisis demands. They hope to inspire others through this endeavor.
