Bukidnon: The Cultural Heritage Capital of Northern Mindanao

Bukidnon is a landlocked province in Mindanao, Philippines. Malaybalay City is the capital of the region. Bukidnon is a major producer of rice and corn and has also vast pineapple plantation.
Bukidnon is the only province in Mindanao that has no coast line. If you're into adventure, you can also visit Dahilayan Adventure and Forest Park, a place where you can spoil your inner adrenaline feels.
The province does not have the typical Philippine islands and beaches. But, it does have abundance of natural springs. Most of them are converted into resorts.
"KAAMULAN" is from the binukid word "AMUL " meaning " to gather ". It is the gathering festivity of the Bukidnon tribes people for a purpose. May it be a Datuship Ritual, a thanksgiving festival, a wedding ceremony and or the likes.
Bukidnon is rich in culture as it has the living heritage of seven indegenous tribes ; the Manobo, the Higaonon, the Talaandig, the Matigsalug, the Tigwahanon, the Bukidnon and the Umayamnon.
