Peñaflor Family in Kalilangan, Bukidnon is celebrating the achievement of their eldest son, Jesson Peñaflor who finished Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering at the U.S. Military Academy. Jesson’s mother, Jeralyn did not expect that her son will follow the footsteps of his father who is a retired soldier. Jesson took up a Mechanical Engineering course at the Mindanao State University in Marawi City. In 2015, he entered the Philippine Military Academy. In 2016, he passed foreign schooling and became a scholar at West Point, New York and on June 13, 2020, Jesson was one of the graduates at the U.S. Military Academy.
Jesson’s mother is hopeful that her son will remain kind and looking forward to his homecoming in the Philippines. His father, on the other hand, Ret. SSgt. Jose Peñaflor advised his son to continue strengthening his faith and become loyal to the service. For now, there’s no definite date yet for Jesson Peñaflor’s arrival and start of service in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
