Beaches are territories of dreams. They are our favorite refuge, a protectorate for the soul, especially in summer. A day at the beach is never lost time. When the warm grains of sand touch our senses, we feel that we are in the right place. This year’s summer, however, spins a different story. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all we can do is close our eyes, take a deep breath, and  wish that we can teleport to these breathtaking destinations in the Philippines.

Calaguas Island, Camarines Norte

The small yet picturesque island is situated in the beautiful province of Camarines Norte, a little around 10 hours away from Manila. The island has clear blue water, beautiful white sand, and amazing landscapes.

El Nido, Palawan

Its beauty is in its profound simplicity. The waters are so clean that when light hits the water at a very specific time, you can see all the way to the bottom! It’s crystal clear to see why El Nido has been voted as one of the best places to be on the planet.

Fortune Island, Nasugbu, Batangas

Once a private-owned island, now an abandoned paradise along the Nasugbu Bay, Fortune Island boasts of a 14 km long white shore. It’s been dubbed as the Philippines’ patch of Greece.

Subic Beach, Matnog, Sorsogon

Subic Beach belongs to the sleepy town in Matnog in Sorsogon Province; in an island called Calintaan, but it might as well be at the edge of the world. The beach is quiet, the coral sand white, the waters cold and clear.


Boracay Island

Boracay has nothing to prove anymore in what it can offer. It is one of the top beaches in the Philippines blessed with a long stretch of powdery white sand beach, crystal clear and azure waters, a stunning sunset, and more.

Kalanggaman Island, Leyte

Kalanggaman is a tropical island bounded by clear bluish-green waters. Under the jurisdiction of Palompon, Leyte, the island offers pristine and powdery-like white sand beaches and a sandbar stretching to 795 meters.

Malapascua Island, Cebu

Malapascua Island is a beautiful remote beach paradise in the middle of the Visayan Sea. The island has a charm that makes you feel relaxed and carefree. Most people come to the island for the diving spots and it is now beginning to get noticed because of this.

Sumilon Island, Cebu

What awaits you is a lush green island paradise, with a long sandbank, beaches, a lively reef, and stunning landscapes. The island stretches over 24 hectares, offering a lot of places to explore and activities to do.


Dinagat Island, Surigao del Norte

At 1,036.34 square kilometers, Dinagat Island is considered to be one of the country’s smallest island provinces in terms of land area. Dinagat is surrounded by islets with pristine white-sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and very rich marine life.

Island Garden City of Samal

The Island Garden City of Samal offers 301.3 square kilometers of land area where endless fun and adventure take place especially during the summer season. It offers unending fascination with its white-sand beaches, thick mangroves, coral reefs, rolling hills, and rock formations. Samal Island also provides a fabulous vantage point for sunrise and sunset.

Siargao Island

Between Cloud 9 and the village of General Luna, you’ll find several kilometers of white sand. Nearby islands like Datu Island, Guyam Island, and Naked Island are also blessed with untouched beaches, making Siargao a heaven for beach bums.

White Island, Camiguin

White Island is a white sand bar without any shades or trees, shaped like a horseshoe. If the sun is up, better to visit the island early morning or bring your sunblock too. There are locals who will ask you to rent their snorkeling gears or umbrella.

At the beach, life is different. When all is over, soak up the sun, ride the waves, breathe the salty air, feel the breeze, build sandcastles, collect seashells, rest, relax, reflect and Choose Philippines!
