Tourist Spots in (and near) Baler Aurora

Diguisit Beach and Rock formations
Locally known as “lukso-lukso”, these stunning rock formations battered by crashing waves make up an amazing location for "cam-whoring" and photo shoots.

Diguisit Waterfalls
Located on one side of the road near the beach in Barangay Zabali, it requires a bit of hiking reach the waterfalls. The wonderful sight and the rushing sound of the water a rewarding welcome for an easy 5-minute hike.

Ermita Hill
This is considered as the highest point in Baler overlooking Baler bay. At the foot of the hill, you'll find "Tromba Marina" shrine to commemorate the families who survived the catastrophic tsunami that happened in December 27, 1735.

Church of Baler
Rich in history, it is the site of the "Siege of Baler" during the Philippine revolution from 1898 to 1899.

Sabang Beach’s Surfing Site
Considered as the "birthplace of surfing in the Philippines". Sabang beach's long stretch of gray sandy shoreline with crashing waves coming from the Pacific Ocean is a favorite "playground" among surfers. A trip to Baler, would not be complete without giving surfing a try.

Ditumabo Mother Falls
Located in Brgy. Ditumabo in the town of San Luis, Ditumabo Falls is towering at a height of 140 feet. Its wide basin and huge imposing cliffs on both sides makes it one of the biggest waterfalls in the province.
