Summer Siren Festival in Subic Bay
Now on its fourth year, the Summer Siren Festival will be held in Subic Bay this coming May 12-14, 2017. It will continue its unique three-day experience of Beach, Play, and Party, filled all sorts of activities, including Arts and Crafts Workshops, Fitness Activities (such as Yoga & Crossfit), and Beach Games. Of course, it wouldn’t be a music festival without any music, and so each day of the event has a specific kind of artist: the first day will showcase Rock and Alternative Artists, the second day will showcase Local and International DJs, and the final day will culminate in relaxing Wind-Down Sessions.

Boracay Music Festival in Boracay Island
The first-ever Boracay Music Festival, to be held on April 27 to May 1, 2017, is actually the brainchild of both the public sector—the Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines—and the private sector—the Sacdalan Marketing Corporation. With the goal of being the flagship event during the Laboracay holidays, the three-day event will be a nonstop party, filled with sports and fitness activities in the daytime, and music and partying from nighttime to the early hours of the morning. The event is set to showcase some renowned local and international acts and personalities, such as international musicians Chicane and Henry Fong, local musicians Kidwolf and Tom Taus, and even local fitness advocate Rendon Labador. Boracay isn’t called the Philippines’ Party Island for nothing!

Mr. And Miss Bantay Turista 2017
Organized by the Community Force Multipliers for Peace Inc. (CFMPI) in cooperation with the 20 Non-Government Organization (NGO), the Mr. and Ms. Bantay Turista 2017 is scheduled for this coming October 18, 2017. The aim of the event is to promote the significance of the country’s Anti-Criminality Campaign, as well as raise funds for calamities, senior citizens, the poor, and all those in need, through a beauty pageant. The contest aims to promote Philippine tourism by tapping the youth as ambassadors through the pageant, as well as encouraging them to showcase their talents and develop their personalities to better serve Philippine society. Of course, the pageant will have prizes involved, and much of the proceeds will go directly to charitable endeavors heralded by both government entities and non-government organizations alike.
