21 Chefs & Restaurateurs Showcase The Flavors Of The World

For the fourth time around, Lifestyle TV in partnership with Metro Society and Food Magazine, gathered 21 prominent chefs and restaurateurs in the country with one aim: to take diners on a gastronomic adventure around the world last  October 21, 2017 at 8 Rockwell Penthouse.

Proceeds of event will go to ICANSERVE Foundation, an organization that advocates breast cancer awareness in the country. 

The evening was filled with the abundance of savory dishes presented in small plates. A country is assigned to each station wherein a chef will present his or her delectable dish served in a small dish.

The stations are as follows:

Station 1 Belgium: Les Deux Belges Beers (Floreffe Blonde and Floreffe Double)

Station 2 Coffee by Nespresso

Station 3 UK: Carlos Garcia Rodriguez of Pig Pen (Braised Snails Bone Marrow Chives and Garlic)

Station 4 France: William Mahi of 210º Kitchen + Drinkery (The Egg)

Station 5 Saudi Arabia: Tina Legarda of Bamba Bistro (Chicken Kabsa)

Station 6 Philippines (Luzon): Claude Tayag of Bale Dutung/Chasing Flavors (Adobong Pugo Confit, Pititian w/ Pickamatis)

Station 7 Thailand: Sandy Daza of Wooden Spoon/Casa Daza (Thai Green Mango Salad)

Station 8 USA: Chad Ogden of Hyatt City of Dreams (Sake-cured Salmon)

Station 9 Nicaragua: Jason Go of MNL Creamery (Quattro leches ice cream cake)

Station 10 European Boutique Wines by Sommelier Selection: Cave Anne de Joyeuse (France), Vinibio (Portugal), Celler del Roure (Spain), Azienda Agricola Occhipin (Italy), Cantine San Marzano (Italy), Cellers de Can Suriol (Spain), Chateau de Roquefort (France) and Chateau Falfas (France)

Station 11 Gin from Around the World from Premier Wines and Spirit: Botanist (Isla Scotland), Caorunn (Speyside Scotland), Gin Mare (Spain), Nordes (Spain), G’vine (France), Colombia (Columbia), Beefeater (UK), and Boodles (UK)

Station 12 Switzerland: Katrina Kuhn-Alcantara of Mesclun (House-cured Corn Beef & Raclette Tartine)

Station 13 Singapore: Nicco Santos of Hey Handsome (Beef Rendang)

Station 14 Sweden: Josh Boutwood of The Test Kitchen (Dry cured lamb, lingonberry, potato)

Station 15 Spain: Miguel Vecin of Bar Pintxos (Pulpo a la Gallega)

Station 16 Italy: Raul Flores of Made Nice (Garganelli Aglio e Olio a la Talanka)

Station 17 Philippines (Negros): JP Anglo of Sarsa (Lechon Manok, Santol, Kalabasa w/ Guinamos Curry, served w/ Ube Basmati Rice and Coconut Yoghurt

Station 18 Greece: Robby Goco of Souv (Beef Cheeks Yiouvetsi, Braised in Bignay Wine, Dolma risotto, eggplant puree

Station 19 Macau: Dedet De La Fuente of Pepita’s Kitchen (Lechon Minacao)

Station 20 Mexico: Carlos Franco of Tomatito (Bao Carnitas Y Salsa Macha)

Station 21 Morocco: Ginny de Guzman of Tilde Cafe (Casablanca Cake)
