Kahilwayan Festival 2014: Schedule of Activities

The Kahilwayan Festival features theater and street dancing participants in colorful costumes where they reenact the Ilonggos historic uprising against Spain. “Kahilwayan” is a Hiligaynon word which means “freedom” or “liberty.”

The city will also celebrate its 166th Commemoration of the Cry of Santa Barbara on November 17, 2014.
