Buglasan 2016: Are you ready for Negros Oriental’s Festival of Festivals?

With the theme of “Community Development Through Tourism,” expect a jam-packed and full of fun activities in this year’s Buglasan Festival!

The festival will focus on promoting cultural tourism by featuring Negros Oriental’s culture and heritage during various activities and events. Some of the cultural presentations that it will showcase are Spanish-inspired dances, folk dance, ballroom, rondalla, balitaw and balak.

In collaboration with Department of Trade and Industry, there will be product fairs in promoting its agriculture, local products and delicacies.

The Negros Oriental Tourism Council will also give recognition to successful Negrenses in the field of music, arts, sports and entrepreneurship through Sidlak Negrense Awards.

The Buglasan Festival is set on October 14-23, 2016. Don’t miss the fun activities, presentations and booths at Sidlakang Negros Village in EJ Blanco Drive and at the provincial capitol grounds.

How to Get There

From Manila, you can fly to Dumaguete (estimated cost of Php4,000++, round trip, one hour and 15 minutes). You can ride a tricycle around the city (minimum of Php9 per passenger per destination).
