Sorpresaya Fun At The Caragan Festival: A Showcase Of The Traditional Aeta Culture

Pampanga is definitely a melting pot of cultures, and it shows in the sheer diversity of its people, hailing from all over Luzon. This is mostly felt in Pampanga’s strong Aeta culture, even going so far as naming one of its municipalities after an Aeta chieftain. Mabalacat, an Aeta chieftain married to a certain Laureana Tolentino, is the namesake of the locale, and in many corners of it, the Aeta culture is significantly felt.
