Perfect Beach Treat: Turon Goes Choco-Loco & Super Special in Baler

Looking for the perfect rainy season dessert but still missing summer? Let's try the famous "turon ala mode" of Bayler View Hotel in the surf spot of Baler, Aurora.

With the classic Pinoy favorite saging na turon (caramelized banana rolls) as the main dish, Bayler has transformed this favorite merienda into something more special.

The dish is basically turon topped with vanilla ice cream and finally garnished with crumbled Choc-Nut (a local chocolate bar). It's finished with a drizzle of chocolate syrup for that added sweetness.

If Baler seems too far for you right now and you can't wait to experience this piece of heaven on earth, you can definitely do this at home. Add fresh strawberries or a garnish of your choice for your own spin on this delicious dish.

Oh, and it's best enjoyed with a four seasons fruit shake.
