Originating from La Paz, Iloilo City, Batchoy is an authentic Ilonggo dish made of Miki noodles, pork meat and innards, toasted garlic and hot broth top with chicharon and spring onions, perfect for rainy season. You can add bone marrow and egg to your Batchoy depending on your choice.

An experience of history and the feeling of warmth is what you will get after having a bowl. While there are many that serve this iconic Iloilo dish, Netong’s La Paz Batchoy is one of the originals, started in 1940 by Leonito Giullergan. Although the restaurant is found in the heart of La Paz Public Market, you will not get lost. Visible directions will lead you to the area, the same location as when it first opened in 1940. One of the many reasons why many love Netong’s in La Paz Market is that their Batchoy retained its flavorful taste, exactly as it was back when it first opened.
