Want a quick escape from the hectic urban life? Tagaytay, being the nearest point, offers a lot of choices. Its cool breeze and the fantastic view of Taal Volcano both serve to stimulate the senses and the appetite. Food hubs and bars abound. Whether you are up for something romantic, chill, or simply just want a food trip, Tagaytay is definitely the place to be.

We have tried a few and you might enjoy these as well.


Location: One Tagaytay Place Hotel, 445 Tagaytay-Calamba Road, Sungay West, Tagaytay City

The vibe is sophisticated but relaxing at the same time.Their meals looked sumptuous and instagram worthy. Almost everything on their list is a must-try! Especially their 5 cheese pizza. 1 slice is not enough. 

Amacena's Kilinaw


Location: Casa Taal, Kilometer 54, Silang Crossing West, Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay City

Taaleña serves classic Filipino food. Grab an ice cold beer and enjoy a plate of yummy pulutan while admiring the view of Taal Volcano.

You do not need to travel far to have a taste of Bicol. Their chili ice-cream and their buko chopsuey easily transports you to the spice province of the country.

The hype is real. Balay Dako is a perfect date place. Decide whether you want to chill outside or appreciate the view from the inside with its antique interiors.

Lime & Basil interiors screams Thailand. Oh, and their food? They offer authentic Thai cuisine. Try their Pad Thai and Shrimp balls with a glass of cool fresh ice tea.
