Here are 5 of where to go green restaurants in Davao.
1. Balik Bukid Farm and Kitchen
When the farm-to-table concept was introduced in Davao City, it was Balay Bukid that first became popular.
The restaurant has a “recycled and reused” homey atmosphere that would further tickle your curiosity to try their balik bukid vegetable salad, blue and yellow rice, beef tapa, pork laing, and homemade tableya ice cream, just to name a few of their mouth watering healthy food.
The restaurant’s façade is a bahay kubo with herbs and other plants. They also sell eggs, vinegar, coffee, and other organic products.
Every now and then, they have concerts to save the eagle, mt. apo, and other environmental causes.

2. Wynward Garden Bistro
Wynward Garden Bistro is right in the middle of busy Bajada, JP Laurel Avenue in the city and yet, it produces organic and fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits for your salads, pastas, viands, and whole meals.
It can also cater to different types of dietary needs like the ketogenic diet or prepare meals for your parties according to your taste.
The owner and chef, Rodelio Dalisay, also teaches organic farming and containerized gardening for urban farmers.

3. Huni Farm
From their natural farm around the restaurant area, organic, healthy, unadulterated, fresh produce go straight to the restaurant’s table.
You can dine on their buffet lunch (PhP450) and merienda on weekends and order ala carte on weekdays.

4. Soul Kitchen Co.
If you want to just grab and go your health food fix, Soul Kitchen Co., is the best place to have your healthy cold-pressed juices, green smoothies, almond mylk, supersalads/wraps, and cleanse and detox packages.

5. Minkah’s Urban Farm and Kitchen
Minkah’s offers fresh farm to table organic fruits, herbs, vegetables, and animal meat like chicken and pork.
They have pasta dishes, salads, viands like chicken adobo, lechon kawali, and humba and basil pesto in jars.
They also sell organic rice, lettuce, herbs, and even lechon.

How to get there:
Major airlines fly daily to Davao City from Manila and Cebu. Manila is an hour and 50 minutes flying time to Davao and cebu is 50 minutes.
