Crash Landing On You has a simple yet very impactful premise. One day, a South Korean heiress Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin) randomly decides to go paragliding. A freak tornado happens, and she crash-lands in North Korea. Ri Jung-hyuk (Hyun Bin), a Captain in the North Korean army, discovers her. After Yoon fails to escape back to the South, Ri begrudgingly offers her refuge and protection – and the two start falling in love.

Attention to detail is one of the things why people love the K-drama series and it is best demonstrated by the integration of food into the story. Captain Ri Jung-Hyeok’s way of opening his heart is through the food he lovingly prepares for Yun Se-Ri. Most Korean dramas showcase the exquisiteness of Korean cuisine, influencing its viewers to crave the experience of Korean food.

In Davao City, Chef Michelle Robin of Yolks Flower Café and Cupcakery, leveled-up her Korean drama obsession by making a special line-up of Kimchi Menu inspired by Crash Landing on You! “When I visited South Korea last year, I fell in love with their food. And when I watched CLOY, one of the things that caught my attention as a chef was the food integration! It is also a kilig feeling every time Captain Ri prepares food for Se-Ri. So, I experimented and made a line-up of Kimchi dishes hoping one day they can taste it!”

Relieve the CLOY experience with her Chicken Kimchi Fried Rice, Kimchi Rolls, Beef Kimchi Dumplings, Kimchi Stir-fry Noodles, Crispy Pork Belly and Tofu in Kimchi Noodle Soup and Chicken Kimchi Pizza that will definitely make you crave for Korean food, right now!
