Kaida Contemporary presents "Not All Apples Are Red," recent works from Jeline Laporga and James Salarda, on February 8, 2015, Sunday at six o’clock in the evening.

With a series of abstract paintings tracking their personal and creative journeys, Laporga and Salarda delve into human experience, life expectations and reality. Laporga uses mostly blue and white pigments to explore ideas brought about by the daily struggles of life, his doubts, fears and failures, creating pieces with images akin to broken vessels that communicate his hopes and longing. Salarda, on the other hand, utilizes bold colors and heavy strokes in his pieces, creating unusual forms showing erratic emotions and pent up energy with his will power series.

Not All Apples Are Red is on show until February 22. Kaida Contemporary is located at 45 Scout Madriñan St., South Triangle, Quezon City. For inquiries, please contact +637090289 or +639279297129, and email [email protected]
