The Paraw Reggata Festival is held annually in Arevalo, Iloilo City. The "paraw" is the main attraction of the festival -- double outrigger boats that are the native sailboats of the Philippines.

It is said that the Iloilo Paraw Regatta is the oldest traditional craft event in Asia and the largest sailing event in the Philippines. In 2009, it was hailed as the Best Sports Tourism Event in the Philippines.
