The classic beauty of these churches will surely give that special holiday vibes for Simbang Gabi attendees. Simbang gabi is a meaningful way of celebrating Christmas among us Pinoys. It's when we devote ourselves to attending the Mass -- singing joyful Christmas carols -- while treating ourselves to mouthwatering delicacies like puto bumbong and bibingka, as well as enjoying cold mornings with your loved ones!

We listed five churches in Manila that are easily accessible:

1) Binondo Church, 1596

Located in front of Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz, Binondo's granite church was built primarily for Chinese nationals who were converted to Christianity in 1596. The distinct octagonal bell tower makes the church grander.

2)  Ermita Church, 1606

Ermita's elegant dame has the oldest Marian image in the Philippines -- the Lady of Guidance (Nuestra Señora de Guia). The church finished its reconstruction in 1953 and was elevated to shrine status.
