A Church in Barcelona

It was built in 1874 by a Spanish friar and is said to have been made out of corral stones, beaten egg whites and tuba, a type of local wine. This is still evident in the facade, belfry and the wall of the church which are part of the original structure.

Fast fact: The town of Barcelona in Sorsogon is named after Barcelona, the city of Spain. It was said that the Spaniards find its topography very similar to the Spanish city thus naming it after their hometown.
