Did you know that snorkelers, free divers and scuba divers have an underwater playground in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental?
“Dive Dumaguete Banilad Marine Sanctuary” is located in Brgy. Banilad, Dumaguete City; it is only dive spot of the city under the supervision of Dumaguete’s local government unit (LGU).
Dive Dumaguete was made to attract tourists and make them realize that there's no need to go to nearby towns to explore and experience the underwater world of Negros Oriental. You don’t need to travel for an hour just to go to a diving site when there’s already one available at the heart of the city. For only about a 5-minute drive, you can already enjoy the underwater creatures of Dive Dumaguete.
A minimal fee is collected when visiting the marine sanctuary. You can rent a snorkel for just about Php50 and dive for only Php100. It is recommended that you bring your personal equipment and gears. (Rate may subject to change without prior notice.)

How to Get There
From Manila, you can fly to Dumaguete (estimated cost of Php4,000++, round trip, one hour and 15 minutes). From Dumaguete airport, go to Banilad Terminal located next to Dumaguete Public Market. Brgy. Banilad is just 5 minutes away from Dumaguete Robinsons Mall.
The modes of transportation in and around the city are motorized tricycles and motorcycles.
