Enjoy an Underwater Adventure in the Sparkling Waters of Talicud
Ida Damo | Jan 11, 2016
Talicud in Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte is 2,917 hectares of coconuts and other trees, white sand beaches, coral rock formations, and sprawling rich marine life.
It harbors tales of the supernatural dwelling in giant balete trees and yet ground you to reality with the beauty of its still living coral garden in Dadatan.
One of the best marine sites in the Davao Region is in Talikud— the 150-hectare Coral Garden Marine Park. The marine sanctuary derived its name from the barrio it faces, Linosutan. It is home to soft and hard corals, anemones and different species of fish.
Just don your snorkel and mask and be amazed by the marine life in Coral Garden. Even those who cannot swim or dive can see the corals while happily bobbing on the clear water using a life vest.
