Have you been to Masbate? If not, here’s one of most coveted destinations in the province that proves it’s worth the hefty travel time.

From the 8-hour bus ride to Naga City, an hour land transporation to Pesacao Port, and finally, the 3-hour sail to the town of San Pascual in Burias Island, I realized that it requires patience (a lot of it) to experience a paradise like Talisayen Island.

Tinalisayan, located east off-coast Burias Island, resembles the shape of a snake. The tip of the island is under a sedimentary boulder which appears during low tides and forms a spectacular sandbar.

So what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and ready your butts, you're about to experience heaven on earth!
