No Flights Needed: Travel To 5 PH Beaches Accessible Via RORO
Yua Dominguez | Apr 18, 2017
Sometimes, the journey is better than the destination. The long, monotonous travel hours on land and water are the best times to get to know yourself better or relish sweet times with your buddies and cement a life-long friendship.
We found different ways to entertain ourselves during the long journey: rant together about the hardships of switching from one public transportation, laugh aloud about some inane thing that caught our fancy, and share one’s deepest darkest secret. After all, you have all the time in the world to get to know each other or get to know yourself and what you are capable of in a deeper level.
Finally arriving at our final destination is made sweeter after all the hardships we underwent to get here.Taking the long route maybe arduous but it pays off, one way or another, as the journey gives a sense of joy, pride, and accomplishment. Test your patience and travel to 5 remote islands in the country via RORO:
Apo Island, Mindoro
Journey: Manila → Batangas Port → Sablayan
Island to island, enjoy one of the richest marine biodiversity in the Philippines! From turtles to dolphins, to sharks, you can be with these amazing creatures up close.
Salagdoong Beach, Siquijor
