Tarlac Serves Giant Paella in Giant Bilao

Residents of Capas, Tarlac feasted on a giant bilao of Paella Ilocano prepared by culinary students last February 12 .
The popular rice dish with roots from Spanish cuisine was made distinctly Filipino through the infusion of local ingredients. Filling the huge bilao with a diameter of 8 feet are 15 kilos pork, 15 kilos shrimp, 10 kilos chicken, 75 kilos of rice, and vegetables.
