Gawahon Eco Park: An Oasis Concealed in the Green Paradise of Negros Occidental

One would be captivated with the beautiful panoramic view of EB Magalona and Silay City.
To enter the park, you’ll only pay a minimal fee of Php20.00 per adult and Php10.00 per child.
A fee of Php10.00 for every unit of light vehicle and Php30.00 per bus or truck is requiredIif you opt to bring and park your vehicle.
If you opt to bring your vehicle, you need to pay a parking fee of Php10.00 for light vehicles and Php 30.00 for heavy vehicles.
“Gawahon” is a Hiligaynon word which means “overlooking.”
Concealed in the abundant greens of the eco-park are the magnificent waterfalls of Gawahon.
There's a boating lagoon where you can enjoy activities such as kayaking (Php50.00 per boat per hour) and paddle boating (Php100.00 per boat per hour). You can also soak the whole day at the pool (Php50.00 per person) or join the kids at the kiddie pool (Php30.00 per person).
For small groups, you can rent a cottage or picnic hut (Php300.00 per cottage) and a multi-purpose hall (Php1,000.00 per use) that can accomodate big groups. There are also rooms, villas and suites (Php1,200.00 to Php2,000.00 per day) for those who would like to stay overnight.

How to Get There:
From Manila, you can fly to Bacolod (Php2500++, round trip, 45 minutes). From Bacolod-Silay Airport, you can take a shuttle (Php100-150 per head), or a cab minimum of Php400) and ask to be dropped off at your destination or at the North Bus Terminal. Bus trips start at 5:00am until 9:00pm.
Victorias City is a 20-minute drive by private car from Silay.
Gawahon Eco-Park is a 30-minute drive from the city proper of Victorias. If you'll ride the tricycle or habal-habal (an estimate of Php40 per head), the terminal is located at De Leon St. at the back of Victorias Commercial Center.
