Mountains and Volcanoes

The Tales of Mount Pinatubo

Zambales

Ca de Ramos | Jun 21, 2013

Being an active volcano, Mount Pinatubo erupted in 1991. The occurrence made a beautiful lake that depth is still unknown. It was 2011 when I set my foot to trek Mount Pinatubo. The view is totally stunning.

How to get to Mount Pinatubo:

From Manila, take a bus to Dagupan or Baguio. Drop off at Capas Tarlac Intersection. Take a tricycle all the way to Sta. Juliana, and register first.

Tip:

A 4 x 4 wheel ride is also part of the adventure to Mount Pinatubo so make sure to contact a guide for reservation especially during weekends.
