Iligan City is dubbed as the “City of Majestic Waterfalls.” Among its beautiful water wonders, Tinago Falls gleams the brightest.

Tinago Falls is 240 feet high. It has 5 drops, and the highest fall cascades into a blue lagoon that people love to swim in. You can go under the falls to relax in the unceasing and refreshing shower, or to simply listen to the sound of the cascade.

If this landmark is familiar to you, maybe you caught it in the cinema. TInago Falls served as a setting for KC Concepcion and Sam Milby’s movie, "Forever and a Day."

Tinago Falls might have been named because of its location, but its beauty is no secret.

How to Get There

PAL and Cebu Pacific have flights from Manila and Cebu to Cagayan de Oro City.

If you’re coming from Cagayan de Oro City, take the Ozamis-bound bus. Go down in Barangay Buru-un where the Maze Resort is. Take a habal-habal to Tinago. Your friendly habal-habal driver knows the way.

It's going to be downhill walk to the falls. So better be ready.
