Mimbalut Falls: Trek to Iligan City’s Most Accessible Waterfalls

With 23 waterfalls found within the 813.37 square kilometers land area in Iligan, the city is dubbed as the “land of majestic waterfalls.”

Some of the country’s most beautiful waterfalls are waiting to be explored in Iligan City, two of which are Maria Cristina and Tinago waterfalls.

Among the 23 waterfalls, Mimbalut is the most accessible as it is just 10 kilometers away from the city proper. Mimbalut is part of Iligan Paradise Resort and Ecopark.

The 90-foot Mimbalut falls streamed from the waters of Lake Lanao through Tinago Falls.

There are cottages and picnic tables if you want to dine while having a great view of Mimbalut. Accommodations are also available for visitors who want to stay in the resort and try various outdoor activities such as canopy walk, zipline, horseback-riding, and cable car rides.

Next time you are in Iligan and you have limited time, visiting Mimbalut is your best option!

Outdoor adventure activities like canopy walk, zipline, horseback-riding and cable car ride are also offered to give you the thrill.
