One of Qurino's major tourist drawer are the Aglipay Caves, a cave system located at Barangay Villa Ventura in the town of Aglipay. The caves that were open to the public have stunning and well preserved stalactites, stalagmites, flow stones and rock formations formed from minerals deposited by dripping water.

Interesting rock formations such as rice terraces, owl, turtle, peacock, snake and "the wedding" can be seen inside, just make your wild imagination work. Hahaha!

For the less adventurous, the complex is also ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway. Enjoy fresh air, clean and green surroundings teeming with lush vegetation while having some picnic at the huts with your family and friends.

Aglipay Caves is definitely one outdoor adventure you shouldn't miss when visiting the province of Quirino.

From Manila, take a bus bound for Tuguegarao City in Cagayan, it passes by the town of Cordon and Santiago City in Isabela where vans are available for a short trip to Aglipay, Quirino. Alternatively, you can also take an RVT Bus (with terminal found in Sampaloc, Manila) bound for Maddela. Travel time from Manila to Aglipay is about 7-8 hours, fare is around 400 pesos.
