Nelly's Garden is an old style colonial house with a loooong garden. It brings back the feel of a time long gone. Located literally at the heart of the Philippine archipelago, Sibuyan in Romblon province is an island blessed with a uniquely rich biodiversity and unparalleled beauty. It’s commonly dubbed as the Galapagos of Asia but in truth, Sibuyan has even more to offer than the Galapagos. It’s an island that’s lived in isolation since its birth, and because of that there are nine mammals, seven lizards, two amphibians, three birds and 112 vascular plants that can be found nowhere else in the world but Sibuyan. Even roadside plants turn out to be new species!

The Boljoon Church is veritable showcase of old and intricate carvings and bass relief. It is also pseudo-baroque rococo with beautifully decorate...d interior. It has a main nave and transcript and has twenty-eight pillars, two meters thick and made of mortar and lime, which support the walls as thick as the pillars. A communion rail with ornate silverworks was stolen from the church.

The six-hectare water park has established itself as a haven for the growing sport of wakeboarding. If you're an active and sports-minded vacationer, a trip to CWC just might be the thing for you- strap your feet on a board, grab a cable and get ready to be pulled around a watercourse (easier said than done)!
